Raw Sunflower Honey is a Mono-floral Honey

The flavour of Raw Sunflower Honey is identical, aromatic with a hint of orange taste. Sunflower Honey is generally set, crystallising medium-fast, its colour depends on the flavonoid content and varies from light gold to orange.

Due to its creamy texture, it is easily spreadable like butter. Great for sweetening your tea or coffee without dripping. Fantastic on a hot toast with butter, is excellent for cooking and baking too.

Raw Sunflower Honey has an antiseptic effect therefore very good if you have a sore throat or cold.

Good to know: If you prefer your sunflower honey softer or runny, we would recommend putting the jar on the radiator for a few hours, and it will return to runny or will soften up. Alternatively, you could just place it in a pot of hot water.

Sunflower honey

The honey is too sweet for me and has a strange texture as if it were some kind of spreadable butter. I am used to the old fashioned European honey jars and dislike the jar too.
